I've always been a fan of New York City's 'delightful imperfections' … graffiti, peeling paint, remnants of shredded posters, architectural ornaments and metal grates (to name a few). There is a limitless supply of interesting patterns throughout the urban landscape and I have attempted to capture their beauty in my fabric designs.
These designs provide a unique opportunity to incorporate a bit of New York City's 'imperfect perfection' into your home décor. The opportunities are as limitless as the city itself … table runners, pillows, tote bags! The designs have also been rendered into beautiful chiffon/crepe de chine scarves. For me, the process of creating these designs has been as much about 'the journey' ... as 'the destination'.
